Divine Maine Coons was was founded with a deep-rooted passion for the breed. Several years ago, My husband and I had the privilage of rescuing a beautiful red Maine Coon whom we named Orange, and we fell head over heels in love with him. From the moment he entered our lives, we were captivated by his charm and quickly formed and unbreakable bond. Although, we were uncertain of his exact age when we welcomed him into our home, for nine aming years, he brought us immeasurable happieness before his untimley departure from this world and left us utterly devastated. It was during this time of grief that we decided to find a new Maine Coon kitten to fill that void in our hearts. However, as we went deeper into our search, we realized that our desire extented beyond simply adding another feline companion to our family. We yerned to share our profound love for the Maine Coon breed with the world, to expands its reach and touch the lives and hearts of others. Personally, I find great fulfillment in recounting the cherished memories of our beloved Orange, and now, I am privileged to create new narratives and impart my knowledge about all of our new Maine Coon cats and kittens that have become part of our lives. Our Testing and Why It's Important
Testing our Maine Coons is a very big prioity of ours. We want to make sure that when you get your new baby Maine Coon, they are purfectly healthy and that starts with testing their parents and checking for clean bloodines. We check our adults pedigrees to make sure that even our Maine Coons parents were healthy beefore we breed. All of our adult Maine Coon male breeders and adult Maine Coon female breeders are tested for HCM/SMA/PK/PKdef. They are DNA tested through Optimal Selection by Wisdom Panel that checks through 50 different markers/traits in Maine Coons. We also work closely with our Veterinarian to ensure their cardiac and skeletal health is excellent!
